Our Approach
At Crown Umrah, we understand that planning a spiritual journey is important and personal. This Refunds Policy is designed to clearly explain how refunds work, while ensuring fairness to our customers and reflecting the terms imposed by airlines, hotels, and other service providers.
Where refunds are possible, we will always assist you in securing them. However, due to the nature of travel services, some charges are non-refundable once confirmed.
General Booking & Refund Guidelines
- Any initial deposit paid to confirm a booking is non-refundable, as it is used to secure services immediately.
- Once flights, hotels, or other services are issued, bookings may become partially or fully non-refundable.
- Refunds are limited to amounts that can be recovered from third-party suppliers.
- Crown Umrah does not retain funds where suppliers have confirmed refunds are due.
All refund requests must be made in writing so they can be handled efficiently and accurately.
Visa Services
- Visa issuance is handled solely by the relevant authorities, and approval is outside Crown Umrah’s control.
- Visa fees and processing charges are non-refundable once an application has been submitted.
- In cases of visa delay or refusal, we will work with airlines and hotels to determine whether any refundable amounts are available.
- Where visa processing is not included in your package, travellers are responsible for their own visa arrangements.
Flights
- Flight tickets are governed by the airline’s fare rules, which may limit refunds or changes.
- Many Umrah fares are discounted or group-based and are therefore non-refundable.
- If an airline authorises a refund, it will be processed once funds are released to us.
- Schedule changes made by airlines do not automatically qualify for refunds, but we will assist with alternatives where possible.
Travellers are encouraged to check flight details directly with the airline prior to departure.
Hotels & Accommodation
- Hotel bookings are subject to each hotel’s individual cancellation policy.
- During peak religious periods, hotels are often non-refundable once confirmed.
- Refunds for early check-out, no-shows, or unused nights are generally not permitted by hotels.
- Local taxes, tourism levies, VAT, or security deposits paid directly to hotels are non-refundable.
If your booked hotel becomes unavailable, a similar standard alternative will be arranged where possible.
Ground Transport & Transfers
- Transport services arranged in Saudi Arabia are usually non-refundable once scheduled.
- Refunds may be considered only if the supplier confirms availability and recoverable charges.
- Missed services due to personal circumstances, flight delays, or late arrival are not eligible for refunds.
Umrah & Travel Packages
- Once any part of a package (flight, hotel, transport, visa) has been confirmed, the package may become non-refundable.
- Package pricing is often based on group arrangements and minimum numbers.
- Cancellations due to personal reasons, medical issues, or failure to meet travel requirements (including passport validity) are not refundable.
We strongly recommend reviewing all details carefully before confirming your booking.
E-Shop / Online Purchases
- E-shop items may be returned if unused and in original condition within 14 days of delivery.
- Shipping fees are non-refundable unless the item is faulty or incorrect.
- Personalized or custom-made items cannot be refunded.
Changes & Amendments
- Any changes requested after confirmation may result in additional charges.
- Changes are subject to availability and supplier approval.
- Any supplier-imposed fees must be covered by the customer.
We will always explain any charges clearly before proceeding with amendments.
Travel Insurance
Crown Umrah does not provide travel insurance but strongly encourages all travellers to arrange comprehensive cover. Insurance can help protect against unexpected events such as cancellations, medical emergencies, or travel disruptions.
Circumstances Beyond Our Control
Crown Umrah cannot be held responsible for refunds affected by circumstances outside our control, including:
- Airline operational decisions
- Government or religious authority regulations
- Natural events or health requirements
- Hotels being confirmed and supplier unable to commit because of system errors.
In such situations, we will support you in seeking any recoverable amounts where possible.
Refund Processing
- Approved refunds are returned using the original payment method.
- Processing times depend on banks and suppliers and may take several weeks.
- Administrative or supplier fees may be deducted where applicable.
Policy Updates
This Refunds Policy may be updated from time to time. The most current version will always be available on our website.
